Avalea, a 13-year-old from New Hampshire, is passionate about helping others appreciate the often overlooked creatures in our world- especially reptiles! She has led campaigns on rewilding backyards, promoting safe mosquito control methods, and was awarded the 2024 Young Conservationist Award from Zoo New England.
